Emergency Preparedness


You are invited to a community meeting regarding the Foothills Fire Management Plan Update on the Sunday, August 3rd from 2-4pm at the Palo Alto Golf and Country Club.  The purpose of the meeting is to provide a status report on the Fire Management Plan and receive input on potential fuel management and response to wildland fires. We are reminded that attendees must comply with the Club's no jeans dress policy and requirement to disable wireless devices when in the Club premises.
 
We are so lucky to not have had a fire yet this season in our neighborhood! 
 
But the fire season is a long one and we need to be better prepared now.  To that end, Officer Ken Dueker of the Palo Alto Police Department is going to present to us important information we need to know today for emergency preparedness.  This presentation is Wednesday, August 13th beginning at 7pm at Mark Nadim's home at 2927 Alexis Drive (phone 949-5672).  Please RSVP to Mark if you are able to attend this important presentation.
